The building kit "Double Deck Flying Star" is an educational toy powered by solar energy.

Features:
It's a DIY building kit, a toy and educational tool in one. It allows children to spend time creatively and teaches them how to use solar energy.
When the sunlight hits the top of the plane, the propeller will start to spin. Sadly, this plane won’t take off just yet, it would need a much bigger motor, solar cell and propeller to have a chance of lifting off the runway. A great kit to spark imagination and start learning about solar energy.
The kit requires a beginner’s level of skill to put together and assembled within 15-20 minutes. Children under 14 may need adult supervision.
Laser-cut parts from pure birch plywood offer the highest precision: everything simply fits together perfectly!
The construction kit is assembled in just a few steps, made easy thanks to the detailed, illustrated manual, no tools are required. Wood glue may be needed to better secure the parts (glue not included).
The aeroplane can be decorated and painted in your own creative style!
The toy works best in direct sunlight, for indoor fun use a 50W halogen light.
Note: Best results are obtained when operated on a sunny day. The product will not run on a cloudy day, shaded locations, indirect sunlight, or under a Fluorescent light.

A brief overview of assembly
Remove the parts from the box and separate pieces. Assemble the pieces by following the detailed illustrated manual. The wires to the sun battery should be connected using your fingers, do not use screwdriver. The solar panel and motor are then mounted in-place. Wooden parts can be varnished or colored.
